Brad Lohsl joined Golan Christie Taglia as an associate in 2023 and concentrates his practice in employment law. Brad is a trusted advisor and advocate, providing expert legal counsel and representation to clients navigating complex employment matters. With extensive experience in identifying, assessing, and mitigating legal risks, Brad offers valuable guidance on best practices and policies, employee agreements, and workforce reductions. Brad represents clients in both state and federal courts, as well as before key administrative bodies such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and the Illinois Department of Human Rights. He is well-versed in representing clients in matters related to retaliatory discharge, discrimination, trade secrets, employment agreements, including restrictive covenants and non-compete agreements, breach of contracts, and violations of the Illinois Whistleblower Act.
In addition to his litigation expertise, Brad drafts employment agreements and other legal documents, helping clients protect their interests and maintain compliance with evolving legal standards. Brad is committed to staying current with the latest developments in employment law, conducting regular legal research to ensure his clients’ practices meet the most up-to-date legal requirements. Brad earned his J.D. from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in 2019, where he was the associate article director of the Indiana Law Review.
