Golan Christie Taglia is pleased to announce that Derrick Loving has joined the firm as an associate. Derrick handles matters involving commercial and business litigation, estate and trust litigation and bankruptcy.

Derrick advocates for the rights and interests of debtors and creditors in bankruptcy cases and aids trustees and beneficiaries of trusts when litigation arises. Prior to joining GCT, Derrick worked as a judicial law clerk for the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Illinois.

Derrick earned his J.D. at The University of Alabama School of Law in 2021, where he was the managing editor of The Journal of the Legal Profession and a member of the Black Law Students Association.
