Golan Christie Taglia partner Donald T. Rubin and of counsel James W. Chipman have been recognized as co-authors of a chapter for the Illinois Institute for Continuing Legal Education’s (IICLE) 2024 Handbook on Real Estate Taxation. The handbook was published on February 26, 2024.
The IICLE is a not-for-profit organization that accomplishes its mission through the presentation of continuing legal education programs designed by and for Illinois attorneys, by publishing comprehensive practice handbooks and forms authorized by and for Illinois attorneys and works to continue the development and maintenance of additional legal resources designed to enhance the Illinois law practice.
Don, the head of GCT’s Property Tax Group, has worked in the field of property taxation for more than 45 years. He represents the owners of commercial, industrial and large residential developments throughout Illinois.
Jim has concentrated his practice in the area of property tax assessment law for over 35 years. He has filed hundreds of tax appeals for commercial, industrial, residential and farm taxpayers before township assessors, county boards of review and the state Property Tax Appeal Board (PTAB).
