Utilizing her diverse experiences to provide a full suite of legal services, Brianna regularly serves as outside general counsel to her clients. She concentrates her practice in the areas of:
- General business issues
- Full spectrum of commercial litigation
- Employment issues
- Workers’ compensation defense
- Property tax appeals
In addition, she has extensive experience in property tax assessment and bankruptcy and reorganizations.
As chair of the firm’s Diversity & Inclusion Committee, Brianna is dedicated to the firm’s commitment in diversity and inclusion advancements, not only within the firm but throughout the legal profession and our communities.
Brianna joined GCT in 2012. Prior to joining the firm, she counseled clients in the area of worker’s compensation defense at Maciorowski, Sackmann, and Ulrich LLP.
In her spare time, Brianna enjoys traveling and going to concerts. She lives in Lake Forest with her husband Brian and sons Joey and Lucas.

2020 was a difficult year. The COVID-19 pandemic impacted the economy across all industries, especially real estate. As the lockdown extended well beyond initial expectations, commercial lending became virtually impossible to obtain given the instability of the market and lack of forecast ability. As a result, we saw a number of commercial real estate deals delayed indefinitely and eventually terminated. On the leasing side, we had tenants defaulting on their leases and asserting force majeure as a means of temporary rent relief. But, as 2020 dragged on and we learned to navigate the unprecedented time, we finally started to see a light at the end of the tunnel as we moved into 2021.
