Leynee Cruz Flores joined Golan Christie Taglia in 2021, bringing nearly a decade of experience in all areas of trust and estate administration and litigation. Drawing from her extensive legal experience in both Illinois and Florida, Leynee works to implement creative legal strategies and personalized solutions for each of her clients.
Leynee concentrates her practice in the areas of:
- Administration of trusts and estates (including guardianships of disabled adults and minors)
- Litigation of wills, trusts, guardianships, and powers of attorney
- Estate planning
Her clients, which include both corporate fiduciaries and individuals, seek out her knowledge for legal assistance in claims involving competency, breach of fiduciary duty, undue influence and disputes over assets. In addition, Leynee is regularly appointed by Cook County judges as Guardian ad Litem in cases involving disabled adult guardianships.
Leynee’s proactive and compassionate approach in providing effective and creative resolutions regarding trust and estate matters has built unparalleled trust and satisfaction amongst her diverse client base.
In her previous position, Leynee served as a principal for Chuhak & Tescon where she regularly enacted asset recovery strategies in order to guarantee the best outcome for her clients. Currently, Leynee also serves as the Past President of the Hispanic Lawyers Association of Illinois, the Young Professionals Board for the Center for Disability & Elder Law, Treasurer of the Hispanic Lawyers Scholarship Fund of Illinois, and a Chicago Bar Association Young Lawyers Section, Director, among additional professional associations.
Leynee is fluent in both English and Spanish.
