Brad Lohsl advises and represents employers and businesses in complex employment and commercial litigation matters. Clients rely on Brad for practical, strategic counsel on identifying and managing legal risk, developing effective workplace policies and practices, preparing employee agreements, and navigating workforce reductions. He focuses on helping businesses remain compliant while minimizing exposure to disputes and litigation.
Brad represents clients in state and federal courts and before administrative agencies, including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Illinois Department of Human Rights. His litigation experience includes matters involving retaliatory discharge, discrimination, trade secrets, employment agreements, restrictive covenants, non-compete agreements, breach of contract, data privacy, fiduciary duties, and claims under the Illinois Whistleblower Act.
In addition to his litigation practice, Brad drafts employment agreements and other legal documents designed to protect client interests and support compliance with evolving legal standards. He closely follows developments in employment and commercial law and brings strong discovery management skills to high-stakes litigation, helping clients meet court deadlines and procedural requirements efficiently.
Brad earned his J.D. from Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law in 2019, where he served as an associate article director of the Indiana Law Review.
Before joining GCT, Brad practiced as an associate attorney at a boutique commercial litigation firm.
