Marcus T. Turner

OVERVIEW

Marcus Turner Jr. is a Chicago-based attorney focusing on bankruptcy, creditors’ rights, commercial litigation, and construction-related matters. In his practice, he has worked closely with debtors, creditors, and trustees in the Northern District of Illinois, handling a range of issues arising in both consumer and corporate bankruptcy cases.

Marcus earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and his J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law. While in law school Marcus worked at the Chicago-Kent’s transactional law & estate planning clinic where he assisted with drafting partnership & operating agreements along with probate and estate planning documents.

Prior to joining GCT, Marcus served as a Staff Attorney for one of the Standing Chapter 13 Trustees in the Northern District of Illinois.
