Margaret Christie counsels clients in a range of businesses, which include entrepreneurial, family-owned and middle-market firms, as well as high net worth individuals, typically with substantial commercial real estate holdings and environmental assets.

She understands the challenges of owning, operating and managing a commercial enterprise and learns as much as she can about her clients and their business to tailor services to their particular needs.
Prior to joining GCT as a partner in 1995, Margaret spent a number of years working in large law firms with national practices – Mayer Brown (Associate) and DLA Piper (Partner) – before setting up her own practice in 1987.
Outside of work, Margaret enjoys classical music, spending time in her garden with her pugs, crossword puzzles, eating well and reading for pleasure.
