Anthony R. Taglia Succeeds Stephen L. Golan as Managing Partner of Golan Christie Taglia
Golan Christie Taglia announced today that Anthony R. Taglia will begin his term as Managing Partner of the firm beginning June 30, 2021. Tony succeeds Stephen L. Golan who has served in this role since the firm was founded in 1993.
“I am honored to become Managing Partner and grateful for the trust my colleagues have placed in me,” said Tony. “For 28 years Steve’s leadership has taken GCT to ever-greater heights, and I look forward to building upon his foundation as we look ahead.”
Steve and Tony served as co-Managing Partners beginning in January 2020 to ensure a smooth transition for clients and the firm. As Tony takes over as the sole Managing Partner at the end of the month, Steve will focus on his clients and continue his role on the firm’s Executive Committee.
“Tony has been an exceptional leader during his more than two decades with the firm, and we have long known that he would take the reins and use his consensus-based leadership style to guide the firm forward,” said Steve.
Tony joined GCT as an associate and was elected to partner in 2002. For more than 20 years, he has focused his practice in the areas of corporate law and governance, mergers and acquisitions, taxation and estate planning, and commercial real estate law. In his practice, Tony leads clients by implementing strategic and effective approaches to help them reach their individual business goals.
“In this new role I am committed to continuing the GCT tradition of providing clients with exceptional tailored service and building upon the robust culture that makes this firm a wonderful place to work,” Tony said.
