Estate Planning Attorney Brian T. Whitlock Joins Golan Christie Taglia
Golan Christie Taglia is pleased to announce the addition of Brian T. Whitlock to the firm. Brian practices in the firm’s Estate Planning & Taxation Group and develops wealth transfer strategies for high net worth individuals, business succession planning and administration, and tax compliance of trusts, estates and exempt organizations.
With his extensive experience counseling clients on strategies for their tax and estate planning goals, Brian is skilled at tailoring estate tax deferral and wealth transfer plans that fulfill the personal and nontax objectives of his clients.
Brian is the current Chair of the Illinois Board of Examiners and a Past Chairman of the Illinois CPA Society (ICPAS). Brian has received the ICPAS Lifetime Achievement Award as well as the Chicago Estate Planning Council’s Austin Fleming Distinguished Service Award.
Brian is a frequent speaker on tax and wealth transfer planning topics and writes a bi-monthly column under the by-line “Untaxingly Yours” for Taxes – The Tax Magazine. He is licensed to practice in Illinois as both an attorney and a Certified Public Accountant.
