Golan Christie Taglia announces the addition of Lauren E. Dreifus to the firm as an associate. Lauren joins the firm’s Commercial & Business Litigation Practice Group, serving clients throughout all phases of litigation including trial or settlement.

With extensive experience representing clients in the areas of commercial and civil litigation, Lauren tailors her approach to each case to address clients’ individual needs and concerns. She regularly drafts pleadings and participates in complex motion practice in addition to conducting written and oral discovery, post-trial briefings and appeals in both state and federal courts.

Lauren also sustains her dedication to advancing her practice and the community through involvement in various local organizations. She served as Committee Chair of the Chicago Bar Association’s YLS Women in Law Committee and currently participates in the Chicago Marathon as a team member for Autism Speaks.

Prior to joining GCT, Lauren gained valuable experience handling a wide-range of civil and commercial litigation matters while serving as an associate at a Chicago-based law firm. She also obtained experience in divorce and family law earlier in her career while working at several family law firms and at DePaul University’s Child and Family Law Clinic.

Lauren earned her J.D. in 2014 from DePaul University College of Law where she received the CALI award for Civil Litigation Strategy and served as Senior Articles Editor for the Journal of Women, Gender and the Law. She received her B.A. in English and Psychology from University of Michigan in 2011.
