Golan Christie Taglia Appoints Darrin S. Baim as Executive Committee Member

GCT proudly announces that Darrin S. Baim has been elected as the newest member of GCT’s Executive Committee after 22 years of service to the firm. Darrin replaces Stephen L. Golan, who will transition to an ex-officio member of the committee after his more than 28 years of dedicated service in firm leadership.

“I am honored to be welcomed onto the committee and grateful for the confidence of my colleagues,” said Darrin. “I look forward to working with the entire Executive Committee and leading the firm as we reach ever-greater heights in our goals for strategic growth and business success.”

Joining GCT as an associate over 20 years ago, Darrin became a partner in 2009 and has held several positions of leadership within the firm during this time. Darrin leads a talented group of attorneys as chair of the firm’s Corporate and Real Estate Practice Groups. He is also closely involved in recruitment and development efforts to attract and retain talented attorneys to the firm in his role as the firm’s Hiring Partner.

Darrin focuses his practice in the areas of corporate mergers and acquisitions, real estate and commercial transactions, structuring of new business ventures, leasing and subleasing, business contract matters and representation of closely held businesses and business owners. Going beyond simply providing legal advice, Darrin carefully understands clients’ concerns and helps them determine how to best achieve their individual strategic goals. He believes that fostering relationships for the long term brings the best results and he strives to provide value to clients at every turn.

“This role is a natural for Darrin,” Managing Partner Tony Taglia said. “He has proven to be a highly dynamic and effective leader, attorney and partner over the years. His experience will translate perfectly to the position and help ensure GCT’s future is bright.”
