Golan Christie Taglia Welcomes Joseph Trytten as Associate

Golan Christie Taglia is pleased to announce that Joseph Trytten has joined the firm’s Trust, Estate & Taxation practice group. Joe assists clients in tax, trust, and estate planning; trust and estate administration and litigation; and tax matters.

Joe recently earned a Master of Laws (LLM) in Taxation from Northwestern Pritzker School of Law in Chicago, IL. Before getting his LLM, Joe worked in a wide array of litigation and regulatory practices in New Orleans, Louisiana. He represented maritime operators, construction contractors, government entities, and small businesses in tort and contractual disputes in state and federal courts. During this time, Joseph was recognized as a “Top Lawyer” in Municipal Law by New Orleans Magazine and as “One to Watch” by New Orleans City Business Magazine.

Joe earned his J.D. from Tulane University Law School, where he served the Tulane Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program as president and site coordinator. He also assisted Prof. Sally Brown Richardson in her work on American community property laws. He served on the editorial staff for the American Bar Association’s journal The Tax Lawyer while studying at Northwestern.
