Golan Christie Taglia is pleased to welcome Brittany Bermudez, who joins the firm as an associate in the Employment Law Group.

Brittany is an experienced employment law counselor and litigator, who leverages a multitude of experiences and passion for client advocacy to offer creative solutions to the most complex employment matters.

In her practice, Brittany counsels her clients on a wide range of employment law issues, including employee relations, leaves of absence and accommodations, hiring and termination decisions, and workplace policies. Brittany assists her clients at both the state and federal levels in a variety of employment issues including litigation relating to anti-discrimination and wage and hour statutes. Brittany also assists her clients in drafting personnel policies, employee handbooks, employment agreements, severance agreements and non-solicitation agreements.

Early in her legal career, Brittany gained significant knowledge and experience with complex civil litigation procedures, fine-tuning her skills to handle matters involving professional and general liability, commercial disputes, class actions and employment disputes.

Brittany earned her J.D. from the University of Iowa College of Law, where she served as the Note and Comment Editor of the Journal of Transactional Law and Contemporary Problems.
