Golan Christie Taglia welcomes Marcus T. Turner Jr. as the Bankruptcy Practice Group associate! Marcuse will be working alongside Derek D. Samz, chair of the Bankruptcy Practice Group, and focusing on debtor and creditor representation in bankruptcy. Marcus earned his undergraduate degree in 2019 from The University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and his J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law. Prior to joining GCT, Marcus served as a Staff Attorney for one of the Standing Chapter 13 Trustees in the Northern District of Illinois. Marcus is committed to helping our clients through some of the toughest experiences and is eager to help them rebuild their lives.
Fun Fact: Marcus plays competitive 16-inch softball, competing in tournaments throughout the summer around the Chicagoland area and even plays on the fields which house the 16 inch softball hall of fame.
