Shelby Nikoloff joined Golan Christie Taglia as an associate in 2023 and concentrates her practice on trusts and estates administration, including guardianships of disabled adults and minors, and complex litigation concerning trusts, estates and guardianship disputes. Shelby offers a hands-on approach to her clients and works with a balance of care and knowledge to guide them through every step of the process.
In addition, Shelby has considerable experience practicing in the areas of family law, divorce litigation and consumer litigation. She earned her law degree from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law, where she served on the Trial Advocacy and Alternative Dispute Resolution Honors Council and Trial Team. Shelby is also graduated from Michigan State University with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice.
Prior to joining GCT, Shelby was an associate at a Chicago-based family law firm.
