Kimberlee is a skilled intellectual property attorney, business strategist and thought leader who focuses her practice in intellectual property, corporate and real estate. She has experience serving clients of all sizes, including startups, mid-level companies and established global businesses. Her background encompasses intellectual property, corporate governance, employment and commercial real estate matters.

A proficient strategist, Kimberlee provides risk and impact assessments for her clients in addition to offering guidance on branding and innovation while managing common intellectual property matters through research and strategy, freedom to operate, patentability, prior art searching, tech scouting, licensing, valuation and extracting strategic business insights from competitive intelligence, market research and big data. She regularly counsels clients on preparing and filing both trademark and patent applications, as well as USPTO prosecution. Kimberlee also assists clients with technology transfer, licensing, global compliance and valuation considerations.

Prior to joining Golan Christie Taglia, Kimberlee served as an intellectual property and corporate attorney and business strategist for a Chicago-based corporate law firm, and as an intellectual property management consultant and analyst for a leading multinational media conglomerate.
