Ashley Orler helps businesses navigate employment issues to bring the best out of their workforce.
Clients turn to Ashley for her innovative and pragmatic approach to employment counseling. On a daily basis, she fields questions from clients across industries on issues such as:
- Drafting and conveying practical guidance on policies and procedures, employee handbooks and employment contracts
- Leave questions including those relating to FMLA, PTO and disability
- Onboarding and terminating employees
- Proper classification of employees
- Wage and hour issues
- Anti-harassment and anti-discrimination training
She regularly assists clients with the prosecution and defense of all types of employment litigation including wage and hour disputes, discrimination, retaliation, Equal Pay Act and breach of employment agreements, including restrictive covenants.
Ashley believes in establishing long term relationships to fully understand her client’s business goals as well as their culture. This insight allows her to seamlessly partner with clients to provide strategic, practical employment advice and options, ensuring their ultimate goals are met.
Prior to joining the firm, Ashley served as a judicial clerk for the Hon. Kathleen M. Pantle at the Circuit Court of Cook County, Chancery Division.
In her spare time, Ashley enjoys visiting new restaurants in Chicago and spending time at the city’s dog parks with her chihuahua Arlo.
